Very much worth the read and it will help his widow Cynthia out.
when i was fully in, i never even heard of ray franz or his books.. after learning the truth about the truth, what woke me up, was in the first place the inconsistency of doctrine, the missing logic and the bending of the scripture to fit their theology.. personal experiences i took with a grain of salt.
therefore, even though i learned about "crisis of conscience" i did not bother reading it.
personally i did not doubt, that what he wrote would be true, but i thought, it would not help somebody to get out, because, its his personal experience, which proves nothing in the end.

i do not know how the blogger who posted this infamous wt cover (5/15/84) got all the names of those who posed for this magazine cover, or whether the names are even correct, but if he got it right, man, what a provocative statement.. .
I LOVE this idea (the bluetooth thing).
I think I'll try it soon
this seems to be a favorite topic to bring up to any witnesses who post on any website where there are any opposers, either here or topix or anywhere.. so, here is the one and only place i will be discussing it.
who can prove that witnesses are specifically told not to post on websites about them?.
If I start a thread insisting the moon is made of cheese, can we debate that too?
Ooop north.
does anybody remeber any distrubing cartoon as children.
i remeber ren and stimpy from the early 90's.. .

I left school at 16 to piosneer. Fortunately I later got a full time job with a company that sponsered me to go to college part time. I'd like to go back and get to degree level but just don't have the time at the moment. One day.

mrs picard and i have both got the week off, so we have decided to spend the day on the hollodeck.. breakfast in bed, followed by a long walk in the countryside.. not a cloud in view.. salad lunch in the garden ( some of our firsthome grown produce of the year), along with a generous glass of red wine.. then a siesta in the hamack.
its a double hamack, but mrs picard declined to join me, prefering reading her new novel.. i didnt sleep, but lazily watched the comings and goings of the birds nesting in the trees above my head, the insects, and the sunlight flickering through the leaves.. to top it all, mrs picard has offered to take me out to the restaurant this evening.. if there is a god, i'd like to publically thank him for this wonderful day, and present my excuses for not going out in field service for the last 15 years.. and, in the words of karen carpenter, in one of her songs:.
.
Keep an eye out for this guy

i mainly post on the topix jehovah's witness forum, but i decided to give it a try over here also.
Welcome! Unfortunately, I can see already that you are not interested in honest discussion:
still thinking: I don't believe that the organization states that sites like this must be avoided when one already is familiar with the ideas presented.
What is involved in avoiding false teachers? We do not receive them into our homes or greet them. We also refuse to read their literature, watch TV programs that feature them, examine their Web sites or add our comments to their blogs. - WT 7/15 2011par 7, pg 16
